The 21st Annual Taste of Hoboken went off last night without a hitch. There were over 30 restaurants and over 40 liquor, spirit, wine and beer vendors. The crowd was a bit lighter than last year (we are in a recession), but the room was still plenty full.  This years event featured an expanded selection of quality wines from all over the world.  For the first time in the fundraisers history, guests were able to sample wines from all around the world, micro beers and a sampling of single malt scotches, premium vodkas, rums and tequilas.

In addition to the wine and liquor tables, this year's Taste of Hoboken featured tasty bites from over 56 restaurants, bakeries and cafes. Some newcomers to the event, Dino & Harry's as well as Bin 14, were on hand to showcase their new cuisine. Meanwhile, legendary bakery, Giorgio's sweetened up everyone's night with delicious Italian pastries and cookies.

The event wrapped up around 9:45. The general consensus from exiting event patrons was that they were full and a bit tipsy. That's a successful event in my book. Congratulations to the event organizers and sponsors.
