Troy's shots are not created in Photoshop, his technique of night photography and light painting is very unique.
Troy takes shots at night or in low level lighting and keeps the shutter closed for several minutes. In that time he set's up the lighting for the scene, giving his photos colorful splashes of bright light.
His choice of subject matter always seems like its out of a Hitchcock film.Things like old delapidated buildings, military compounds, junkyards and roadside ghost towns fill his portfolio.
His book, Night Vision: The Art of Urban Exploration was released in 2008 and his prints are available on his website.
